His narrative style is based on mounting tension and gradual revelation, while his female characters face ethical dilemmas in a society that imposes social and cultural restrictions. He also approaches Iranian class conflict and social tensions from an empathetic, non-stereotypical and non-judgmental point of view. His cinema, beyond the local, becomes a universal mirror that invites us to reflect on truth, justice, duty and freedom, appealing to a deep compassion for humanity.
