Abstract

The author presents Miyazaki, the director and creative head of the Studio Ghibli productions. She makes a brief and meaningful summary of his work, which she considers wide, profound, full of symbolism, which responds to his own culture, to vivid fragments of his biography, but also to his love for literature, to his own tributes to his favorite authors, to the painting of the XIX century; in its particular way of seeing the world, of being critical of war, with uncontrolled progress, with industrialization and the robotization of society.
