Thoughts about the audiovisual and the power of image in the contemporary era

Abstract

The present article raises some reflections on the current cultural and social situation of cinema. And how progressively the hyper mediated environment has dissolved the gap between reality and fiction. The article also analyses some films and genres that have deepen on these topics and that propose a conscious way of approaching cinematic images.
