Abstract

The series of fiction shorts that is broadcast on the Internet, known by the Enconetv brand, has become the most watched Ecuadorian audiovisual production in the country, with a growing audience in other Spanish-speaking regions, with a special impact on children and young boys of college age. The phenomenon is analyzed from the perspective of transculturation between stereotypical forms of the Hollywood film industry and what the creators of the series call "Ecuadorian idiosyncrasy", in a daring gesture of cultural and artistic anthropophagy in the middle of the internautic ocean as a setting. .
