Abstract

This article examines in an autoethnographic approach the possibilities and conditions of film creation in the midst of the global pandemic unleashed by the coronavirus at the beginning of the year 2020. It also reviews the current role of digital formats in the production and circulation of filmic contents that are involved in the construction of memory.

He is a German artist and visual researcher, author and translator based in Ecuador. Sports and photography studios in Cologne and Leipzig. Film studies at the Institute of Visual Arts PPF and UW-Films, Cologne / Berlin. Literature and Pedagogy at PUCE, Quito, Ecuador. Master and Doctor in Cultural Studies from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Ecuador. Postdoctoral at CIAS, Bielefeld University, Germany. He is a teacher and researcher in the field of Visual and Art Studies, coordinator of the transdisciplinary project Plataforma_SUR.
