Abstract

This article explores the concept of transmedia narratives or storytelling, a relatively new field that has been consolidating in recent years within the audiovisual media ecosystem. Any product immersed in the universe of transmedia narratives has a great capacity for innovation, convergence and can be presented as a new way of communicating and even doing journalism for new audiences, who no longer act passively, but instead interact with it. content. In this paper, reference cases of transmedia projects carried out in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru are analyzed.

Karen Lizet Ramos Romero, Universidad Nacional del Rosario

Karen Ramos Romero is a journalist with more than 10 years of experience. She has dedicated herself to digital journalism in the workplace, and has specialized in Digital Communication with a master's degree in Interactive Communication at the National University of Rosario, Argentina. She has a postgraduate degree in Audiovisual Production Techniques from the Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid, Spain and studies in professional photography in Spain. She is currently working on a transmedia narrative project entitled “El Telón de las Palabras”.
